CINCINNATI – Macy’s, Inc. today announced it will begin using recycled paper shopping bags at its Macy’s stores, as well as biodegradable packaging for its online shipments, as part of the company’s commitment to contribute to a more sustainable environment. Research shows multiple options available to governments to meet Kyoto obligations

In CIGI’s newest Working Paper, Green Japan: Managing the Intersection of National Politics and Global Environmentalism, CIGI Senior Fellow Carin Holroyd reviews Japanese government policies and initiatives that are enabling the country to meet targets set by the Kyoto Protocol. Costco Goes Green with Mitsubishi Electric Solar Array

REC SOLAR UNVEILS HAWAII’S LARGEST SOLAR ELECTRIC SYSTEM

San Luis Obispo, CA—REC Solar, a rapidly growing provider of residential and commercial solar electric systems, and Mitsubishi Electric have announced the completion of Hawaii’s two largest solar installations for the Costco Wholesale locations in Kauai and Kona. The two systems, which are 680 kilowatts (DC) each, hold the distinction of being the biggest solar arrays in the state of Hawaii to date. A New Harris Interactive Study Looks at “Going Green” Efforts Through the Eyes of IT Decision Makers
